I've had my characters drawn by numerous people and that makes me happy. so here's a feature!
Fanart for my very first comic "I spy..."
~KYOKO~
Kyo (aka. Kyoko) was the heroine of my first comic, I spy. She was also the first character to "speak" to me. It's almost as if she were real to me (no I'm not delusional.... just a little insane, hehehe) I love her dearly and she is so dear in fact that even though I finished I spy, I insist on drawing her in comics... thus she'll appear later on in Written in the Stars.
Though not much fanart is drawn of her... because it would need to be somewhat lively, I think or I shoudl hope that she is an entertaining character!
I entered her in one of those OC battles and well it's not surprising that she should lose the first round against a supernatural phenomenon. A very powerful demon with super powers and super strength would obviously beat out the meer human even though that human happen to have taken an instant hulk pill...
But though losing isn't the most glorious way to be depicted, at least she was depicted! and there she is in a tree (I'm just surprised she didn't fall from it!)
This was by theevilrentaro
~KIKU~
Kiku in I spy is a trapped soul. She is trapped within the female lineage of Kyoko's family and thus trapped in Kyo when the comic takes place. Kiku will take possession of Kyo's body when sent on a mission. This is a good thing because Kiku is very skilled (after MANY years of body possessing) and well Kyo is a klutz and a little scatter-brained at times... (I'll get murdered by Kyo for saying that). But yes back to Kiku. she is the silent, skilled "ninja" spirit, very calm and collected and in a sense someone I'd hope people thought was cool.
This was probably the first official fanart I've received. And what a lovely one at that! I was so pleased and used it as a computer wallpaper for the longest time!
Miyun was unsure about the colours but actually it is spot on (black hair when coloured is rather flexible). I've always wished I could colour like her... ah well maybe one day. take a look at her awesome art! she has two accounts: tsunoto and pandarosi
Fanart for Written in the Stars!
~NEKORA~
As the main character she gets quite a bit of attention. To be honest I'm a lot more interested in her curly hair! You don't see too many curly haired heroines!
If only I could come up with a way to colour it... others seem to have better luck at it look bellow:
Isn't Nekora cute? this was by my awesome best bud:D
Look at more of her awesomeness here as pandarosi or tsunoto
And this here I recieved as a prize... but it's drawn by a super awesome artist! One that I'm always in raptures about, known as zeiva.
She has her own website and has been selling artwork/flash games and who knows what other lovely goodies for a while now.
Nekora here is gambling! *gasp* it was a themed request.
this lovely more realistic style drawing was done by my dear friend Lauren. And I thank her for it! because she didn't have to but she offered it to me. A unique style that I really like because you get a textured feel. go see for yourselves!
~ZARA~
From Heroine to main villain...I wouldn't exactly describe her as a vilain. To me, she's more like a poor soul who hasn't made the best calls or had any opportunities to make good calls. She's certainly not evil (in my eyes) though I will say she can be VERY cruel. I need to take lessons in character description because I'm not doing any of them justice. Though fortunately some know what I mean and look at the lovely art I've got of her!
This gorgeous 3D version was done by Ilenora. I was so happy about it that I might have annoyed her with so many "thank you" spam messages...
I recieved this from what one may call a request trade. I consider myself fortunate to have such a lovely coloured piece.
click to visit this awesome artist!
Look at the pretty lines. Again a trade, this time of Original character lineart. So I drew one of hers (which you can see on my deviantart account). She's a friend and a great artist you should check her out here.
More prettiness and Zara is finally in action! Thrilling! Please do check the artist out! themarzipanfox
~ARIA~
Aria hasn't appeared yet and somehow has become the most popular character. I've usually left the artist pick which character they want to draw. Low and behold Aria was picked the most! look at the pretty Angel:
Isn't she gorgeous here? I consider myself VERY fortunate and lucky to have gotten this. And even now I'm surprised that I got this from an artist I really admired no less. she offered requests and did mine. and soon after deleted all she drew and decided she was sick of this style that I admired in her. Too bad.
I wish I could tell her still that I truly admired her and am truly grateful for this lovely rendition of my precious Aria. this is her deviantart page: miu-panda
Yet again a free request from an admired artist! And again I was pleasantly surprised to have received this despite the computer troubles Natsuki had at the time. So as thanks I drew her original character in return.
check out her gallery and I urge you even more to read her comic.
yet another artist picked to draw Aria and this is it. she also mentioned that she had originally planned to depict her washing dishes (I have yet to understand why) but wasn't able to finish that section.
This cute little drawing was from a friend of a friend who of course is now my friend. She practically just decided to draw for me without me having to do anything for her in return. It was really nice of her!
check out her other works: click
Ilenora has done a lovely 3D picture of Aria! isn't she gorgeous here!! This was meant to be the equivalent of a sketch (can I say it's a mighty GORGEOUS thing to call sketch equivalent! of course there isn't the post work that would perfect the hair, but it's so lovely as it is!!!)
Before I go off into mindless blabbing, I'd like to urge you to check Ilenora out.
This is a gaia commission I somehow managed to get (with the little I had of gaia gold) and I'm thankful that sanzo-follower agreed to do it! and she even coloured it at no extra cost! She did a lovely job with her because she portrayed the character marvelously and really gorgeous and even managed to incorporate the wings in it! check out her gallery!
~MEYUME & KURYUME~
These two inseparable twins are fortune tellers. In the world of Asiori it's their duty and responsibility to inform people of their powers so that those people can learn how to master their powers and bring it out safely. However these two are rather mischievous. They won't tell poor Nekora about hers!
I love them dearly and they are probably my favourite characters because they are such fun characters to animate. Not to mention I seem to be obsessed with twins... so of course it's to be expected that I'd be ecstatic when someone decided to draw them!
I consider myself lucky once again with this Gorgeous piece. It was done as a trade and I felt like I had won the lottery or something. For someone to have drawn my dear twins so beautifully. I was so very pleased!
The artist and now online friend does the most beautiful CG colouring and many times I've envied his skill. I really suggest you take a look here
And now sketches gallore.
From my in class drawing buddy~! to think she sketched so many ideas for the twins! I'm so happy . And hears for some excitement, she coloured the first sketch and look at the pretty:
Go here for more lovelyness

And yet again my dear twins were portrayed. this time in chibi form by Renka. Don't they look cute :) Just the right way to show their childish side.
Meyume and Kuryume are portrayed excellently in their fun-loving mood *wink*. I love how the two tone feel is captured. Meyume white and Kuryume dark. I feel so lucky to have caught jazzcatnya's Kiriban because I'm loving it to bits! pleases go check her out!
~KIKU & KYO~
Yep, you've guessed it! The two from I spy... This time they are will be identical twins and will be younger (I'm thinking of making them 10 or 11 years old). Though they are identical in genetics they will have different hair styles, of course their character is like before adapted for a younger age and yeah... you see I really do have an obsession with twins...
Now I know what you are thinking... what's up with the 100 characters that are obviously not mine... well this is just to say that it's the first and so far only picture featuring Kiku at the age that she appears in Written in the stars... she's dangling with her sword of of someone dangling on the dragon... In other words puny... but that 's her!
This amazing picture was drawn my a Japanese artist that I admire very much. Go say hi to apricot
~FUMIRU~
He was one of my early characters...and perhaps the only one who hardlychanged. I liked the design and stuck with it. And finally he receives some love.
Isn't he adorable? This was as a participation sketch for anime-honeybee's contest:D and I'm so happy. Coincidentally, she drew him surprised to see something... and exactly as I pictured he would look when he sees nekora again after a very long time. I'm so pleased.
~MIKAO~
Nekora's poor brother... One could think that I created him for the sole purpose of making a character with a tragic life... And yet I really think he's such a sweety and would like to draw him more... (so I will XD) But I'm glad that he doesn't go on unloved ! For I spy FANART!!!
Finally Mikao fanart! and three in one too!!! <3 My very dear friend, and number one Mikao fan, Caro drew this for me. And I love it to bits!!!! It also does an excellent job of foreshadowing what Mikao's life will be like. Got you curious? Excellent!
Go check her gallery out!
~MAK~
I love Mak though I'm in constant fear that I won't do him justice. Though I'm glad that at least someone likes him enough to draw fan
I am squealing in happiness. Because he looks gorgeous! and Miyun said it was only a tegaki sketch! I urge you to spam her with love! *her tegaki is here*
~GROUPS~
Last but not least, group shots. Now that you've seen everyone in an individual manner and can tell them appart I can show you group fanart.
This was done by the awesome IoriMK on deviantart. I found her randomly and saw the cutest upload and commented with the little spanish I know to practice. Later she agreed to let me practice spanish when I commented on her stuff and she'd practice english with me. I was so happy to have made a friend like that.
She's been awesome and if anything this is a PURE GIFT ART. she just decided one day to draw three of my dearest characters. Meyume, Kuryume and Nekora. and look at it! it's really too cute and so appropriate for this comic. I really urge you to take a look at her art because it is simply lovely!
Above is yet another lovely group shot. And yet again a true giftart. This is done by the amazing Router-Jax ,(who drew my dear fortune telling twins as well). When I first saw this I though it would have been a great promotional poster if I were ever to have WitS as a Anime or movie of some sort. It's simply lovely and made me euphoric.
It's the first time that Mikao (left) and Niora (right) appear in fanart. And that quite made me happy because I felt that they deserved the love. I've been really pleased with the portrayal of my characters in diferent styles and yet their essence has remained intact. I'm squealing for joy!
Misc OCs:
~TANIA~
Random character of my creation... I really liked her design... so I ended up adopting her as an OC. She'll probably make a cameo appearance in WitS but I'm thinking of getting her to star in a series of her own (or at least a set of illustrations).
And to my surprise, others were impressed by her as well and I now have a first fanart of her to show you! celebration~ go show some love to the artist: mea411
I've noticed that most, if not all of the art I've received as gifts were by artists that I admire. I've been fortunate. very lucky. and I am grateful that they would do that for me.
Thank you for drawing my characters and supporting me!
REALLY THANK YOU!
~Kat
